EPC Labs, Inc. manufactures thermal graphic recorders and data acquisition systems for use in a wide variety of custom applications including side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling, spectrum and acoustic analysis and post-processing.
EPC Laboratories, Inc. was established by founder and owner Edward P. Curley in 1967. Since its inception EPC has remained dedicated to the design and manufacture of graphic recorders.
In the early 1970s the company started a period of rapid growth that resulted from the booming expansion of the oil industry. In 1999, EPC Labs Inc. moved to its current facility in Danvers, Massachusetts (approximately 20 miles north of Boston, MA).
In the early 1980s, EPC began selling into military applications such as anti-submarine warfare and communication surveillance.
The product range includes bespoke recorders for analog side scan sonar and sub-bottom profiler systems including the EdgeTech 272. EPC also offer a digital LCD screen sonar/sub-bottom data recording unit. |
